On this page
This is the moment everything led to: the grand reopening, and Cà Phê Sài Gòn’s first sale on BANA. The BANA Sale app is where Hùng rings up orders, takes payment, and hands over receipts. This guide walks one complete sale from start to finish.
Before you start
- The BANA Sale app open at sale.bana.com.vn, signed in with your staff account.
- This till already paired with your store. If you see Activate device instead of the sale screen, it hasn’t been — see Set up the till and printer. It’s a one-off, and it’s the owner’s job, not yours.
- Products in the catalog. They reach the till on their own, under the same categories you filed them into in Complete your product list.
- Payment methods turned on. Cash is always available, so you can ring up this sale even if card and QR are not set up yet.
Ring up the sale
Open the sale screen
Open Quick Sale. The screen is the shop you built in the dashboard, laid out for one hand at a counter:
- Across the top, your sale channels — Offline for customers drinking in, Take away, and GrabFood. The till opens on Offline. The order you are about to build belongs to whichever channel is selected, so pick it before you start ringing up, not after.
- Under that, a tab for every category you created: All, then Đồ uống and Đồ ăn, then the six drink groups — Cà phê, Coldbrew, Matcha, Tea, Juice and Kombucha. More than fits on one row sits behind Show More.
- On the right, the order you are building — empty for now.
Find a product by its category
Select Cà phê and thirty-four products become eight coffees. That is what filing each drink under its group bought you: the cashier taps one tab instead of reading the whole product list. Search does the same job when you know the name.
What a card shows depends on how you priced the product. One you sell a single way shows its lone variant as Default at one price — Cà phê sữa dừa, 45,000 ₫ — and tapping it drops that line straight into the order. One you priced by size carries an Options badge and the range its sizes cover: Cà phê sữa đá reads 29,000 ₫ – 39,000 ₫. Tap it and the grid becomes one card per size; tap the size the customer asked for — M, 35,000 ₫ — then Add to cart.
Build the order
Now select Đồ ăn and add Bánh mì thịt at 25,000 ₫. The order panel lists both lines with their prices, the coffee carrying the size you chose — Cà phê sữa đá - M — and Total counts them: 60,000 ₫. Adjust a quantity right on its line, or remove a line if the customer changes their mind.
A product that refuses to go on the order has no stock and no Allow Oversell — the tick your product list gave every made-to-order item. That is the owner’s to fix: see Fix a product that won’t sell.
POS Tablet / Mobile: the grid fills the screen and the order opens from the bottom. Use Select Cart to switch between open orders, or New Cart to start another while one is still in progress.
Take payment
Select Checkout. The Payment screen opens with the order on one side and your payment methods on the other. The screen lists only what your shop has set up: here that is Cash, so Default Cash Account is already ticked. Key in what the customer handed over — 100,000 ₫ — and Tendered shows what you took, Remaining the 40,000 ₫ change you owe back. Bank and QR rows appear here once the owner adds those accounts, under Finance. Select Pay Now to complete the order.
Finish and print the receipt
A Payment Successful screen confirms the sale: Total Paid 60,000 ₫, the transaction ID, and Payment Method Cash. Select Print Bill to print the customer’s receipt on a connected printer — or Kitchen Bill to send the order to the kitchen. When you’re ready for the next customer, select Back to Sale.
The sale is recorded instantly and syncs to the dashboard under Sale, where it feeds your revenue reports automatically.
Tip: No printer yet? Select Printer Settings right from the success screen to connect one without leaving the sale.
Next steps
You’ve made your first sale. The rest of the counter follows from here:
- Look up an order — find the sale you just made
- Add a customer to an order — for regulars and for VAT invoices
- Set up the till and printer — device pairing and printers
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a barcode scanner?
No. You can tap products on screen, narrow the grid with a category tab, or search by name. A scanner just speeds things up if your products have barcodes.
What if the drink comes in sizes?
Its card carries an Options badge and a price range rather than one price. Tap it and the grid becomes one card per size — S, M and L, each with its own price. Tap the one the customer asked for, then Add to cart, and the order line records the size.
What if the customer pays part cash, part transfer?
The payment screen lists every account your shop has set up, so a till with only Cash can only take cash. Once the owner adds a bank or QR account, you can put part of the total on each method — Remaining counts down until the total is covered.
Where does the sale go after I finish?
Straight to the dashboard. You'll find it under Sale, and it feeds your revenue reports automatically.
