Create your BANA account

Welcome to BANA. Creating your account takes just a few minutes: you sign up, verify your phone, set up your business, and start your trial. By the end you’ll land in your dashboard, ready to add products and start selling.

What you’ll need

• A username: 4–32 characters, using lowercase letters, numbers, dots, underscores, and hyphens, starting and ending with a letter or number
• A password: at least 8 characters, with one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character (!, @, # and the like)
• A mobile phone that can receive an SMS code, which BANA uses to verify your identity
• Optional: an email address so you can recover your password later, and a logo for your business

Create your account

Start from the sign-in screen

Open client.bana.com.vn. This is the sign-in screen, where you’ll log in every day. Since you don’t have an account yet, find Don’t have an account? and select Create One.

Enter your details

On the Create an account screen, fill in your First Name, Last Name, Username, and a Password. BANA lowercases the username as you type and shows the rules under the field; a checklist under the password ticks off each rule as you meet it. The Referral Code is optional; leave it blank if you don’t have one. Tick I agree to the Terms of Service, then select Create account. The button stays greyed out until every required field is valid. BANA signs you in and takes you straight into setup.

Verify your identity

Confirm your phone number

BANA now guides you through three steps: Identity, Business, then Pricing Plan. On Verify Identity, enter your Phone number — Vietnam (+84) is already selected — and select Get OTP. Six code boxes open below the field; type the code BANA sends you by SMS and it verifies as soon as the last digit lands. The countdown beside the boxes is how long that code stays valid — once it runs out, a Resend link takes its place.

Select Add Email for Account Recovery while you’re here and add an email address. It is what lets you reset a forgotten password later. Then select Continue — it stays greyed out until your phone is verified.

Set up your business

Name your business and pick your industry

This step creates your organization, your overall business in BANA. Select the square to upload an Organization logo (PNG or JPEG under 10 MB, 400×400 px recommended). Enter your Organization Name — the field has a VI / EN toggle, so fill the Vietnamese name (for example Cà Phê Sài Gòn), then switch to EN if you also use an English name. Under Industry, pick the one that matches your business — for a café, that’s Food & Beverage. The card opens a row of sectors: choose Cafe. You can pick more than one, at least one is required, and the card counts what you’ve selected. Select Continue.

Start on the free trial

Choose Your Plan lists the plans and what each one includes, on a Monthly tab (Annual isn’t available yet). The cards are there to read, not to pick from, and you don’t enter any payment details: select Continue with Free Trial to open your account on the 14-day Pro trial. You can move to a paid plan from your dashboard when you’re ready.

You’re all set

Open your dashboard

BANA confirms You’re all set with your business name and lists everything it created for you under AUTO-CREATED FOR YOU: a default merchant — your store — called Headquarter, with one POS sale channel, the Restaurant POS sale module, VND currency, an invoice template, and your 14-day Pro trial. It also links the two apps you’ll use: Client, the dashboard you’re in now, and Sale, the app your cashiers ring up orders on. Select Open Dashboard to go in, or jump straight to Add Product or Invite Staff.

Reset a forgotten password

Request a password reset code

If you can’t remember your password, select Forgot password? on the sign-in screen. Enter the Email you added while verifying your identity and select Send Reset Code. BANA then walks you through three more screens in the same card: Enter Verification Code (type the 6-digit code from the email, or select Resend OTP), Set New Password (the same password rules apply), and Password Reset! — select Go to Sign In to log in with your new password.

Sign in next time

Your session stays active after setup. Here’s how to come back later:

1. Open client.bana.com.vn.
2. Enter your Username and Password.
3. Leave Remember me ticked to stay signed in on this device, then select Sign In.

Staff and the POS: Your team rings up sales in the BANA Sale app at sale.bana.com.vn, using their own BANA accounts. See Manage employees and roles.

Troubleshooting

• “Account not found” or wrong password: use your Username (not your email), and check that Caps Lock is off.
• Create account is greyed out: a rule is still unmet. Check the password checklist — the special character is the one people miss — and the username rules under the field.
• No sign-up code arrived: wait for the countdown beside the code boxes to run out, select Resend, and confirm the number can receive SMS. (Password reset codes come by email, not SMS.)
• Continue is greyed out on Set Up Your Business: you need a name and at least one sector selected under your industry.
• Username already taken: usernames are unique across BANA, so pick a different one.
• You closed the tab part-way through setup: sign in again and BANA picks up at the step you left.
